Required of Guest Workers

Canada Guest Worker Services Ltd., brings to Canada legal, dependable workers on temporary work permits. We are looking for people with excellent work ethic, experience and qualifications. If this is you, CGWS will help place you with a Canadian company.

Please send us the following information:

  1. CGWS application form (Application instructions)
  2. Four (4) letters of reference, job related, translated to English
  3. A letter in English explaining why you would like to work in Canada
  4. Copy of your valid passport
  5. Letter of no previous convictions (Criminal record check) from the state where you have lived for the past 5 years.

Once you send us all the above information, it will be processed and placed in our database. CGWS will contact you when we can place you with a Canadian Company.

Please take note that you must speak at least 65% English and that the Temporary Foreign Worker Program is not an immigration program, it is a temporary work program, you must return to your country upon completion of your contract and you must remain employed with the company or your work permit will be cancelled.

Money matters: CGWS does not charge applicants for our services. However, there will be costs incurred on the applicant's behalf that are the responsibility of the applicant. Applicants should plan on having approximately $1,500 CAD on hand to cover costs such as travel incidentals (CGWS pays airfare only), visa fees, medical exam fee, first month rent, work & living expenses for the first month.

Application instructions:

  1. All documents must be translated to English
  2. Please respond to all of the questions in English.
  3. Do no leave any spaces blank. (NOTE: there are multiple pages to the application form)
  4. Attach a recent picture.
  5. Attach a letter from the police of no prior criminal convictions.
  6. Attach your resume (In English).
  7. Submit your application via e mail to: applicants@guestworkers.ca
  8. ALL INFORMATION MUST BE VERIFIABLE.

¡ All application documents must be completed fully and in English. If your application does not meet these requirements it will be rejected!
